<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent washing water sprayed from a washing nozzle from leaking from a sealing part when a dishwasher is used for a long period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a washing pump 26 including a motor 25 for pressurizing the washing water and sending it to the washing nozzle 21; control means 33 for successively controlling respective steps of washing, rinsing and drying; and state detection means 34 for detecting an operation progression state. When the state detection means detects a prescribed operation progression state, the control means lowers the discharge pressure of the washing water to be sprayed from the washing nozzle from an initial pressure for a prescribed amount.
