<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machine which can efficiently prevent the scattering of fiber waste and remove an unnecessary yarn from a yarn take-up roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spinning machine includes a spinning device, a yarn take-up roller 21, and a yarn-sucking device 30. The spinning device twists a fiber bundle to produce a spun yarn 10. The yarn take-up roller 21 is disposed on the downstream side of the spinning device, and is rotated to wind up the spun yarn 10 produced by the spinning device on the outer peripheral surface of the roller, thus temporarily storing the spun yarn 10. The yarn-sucking device 30 can form a suction flow in a yarn-sucking port 30b disposed close to the outer peripheral surface of the yarn take-up roller 21. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
