<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner suction gear capable of agilely, easily, cleanly eliminating dust lying in/sticking to a narrow place such as a rail groove of a sash and of unscatteredly collecting dust and a vacuum cleaner including the suction gear. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner suction gear fixed to the front end of a suction pipe of the vacuum cleaner includes a suction gear body 1 having a joint 6 with which the gear is attachably/detachably fixed to the suction pipe on one end and a dust sucking opening 2 on the other end, a rotary body 3 rotatably disposed in the approximate middle of the opening 2, a base 9, a plurality of bristle bundles 10 filling the base 9, and a brush 4 connected to the rotary body 3, disposed outside the inlet 2 and rotating while linking with rotations of the rotary body 3.
