<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of musical pieces which have not been notified to the user among the musical pieces favored by the user and newly made playable by Karaoke. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The Karaoke musical pieces which have not been notified to the user among the Karaoke musical pieces corresponding to the musical piece basic information containing retrieval character strings previously registered by the user are retrieved and provided as new song information to the user. When the new song information to the user is displayed on a display part, the information is reflected to a "My Artist Database" regarding the certifying user at predetermined timing. In the next certification, the Karaoke musical pieces will not be displayed as the new song information to the user. As for the predetermined timing, the time when the Karaoke musical piece is reserved for playing, the time when the Karaoke musical piece is played by Karaoke, and the time when the certification to the certifying user is finished can be given.
