<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing panel excellent in its strength and mounting strength, and a structure for mounting the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This external facing panel includes a rectangular frame-like panel frame 4, each side of which is composed of a frame body 3. The external facing panel is equipped with at least a front-side plate 5 out of the front-side plate 5 provided on the outdoor-side surface of the panel frame 4 and a back-side plate 6 provided on the indoor-side surface of the panel frame 4. The front or back-side plate 5 or 6 is formed as a tongue-forming face plate. A first tongue portion 12, which is composed of the frame body and the tongue-forming face plate protruding outward with respect to the frame body, is provided on one of the two facing sides of the external facing panels. A second tongue portion 13, which is composed of the tongue-forming face plate and the frame body 3 protruding outward with respect to the tongue-forming face plate and which can be shiplap-fitted to the first tongue-portion 12, is provided on the other side of the external facing panel.
