The method involves manufacturing a base sleeve through deposition of nickel and/or copper on a base body, and mounting the sleeve on a retaining arbor. The sleeve is coated with electrically conducting plastic, and the plastic is removed from the base sleeve, such that the sleeve is provided with a cylindrical outer shell surface. A copper layer is galvanically deposited on the surface. The copper layer has a structured layer produced by etching, electromechanical engraving or loading with laser radiations, and a hard material layer made from chromium is applied on the shell surface. An independent claim is also included for a sleeve comprising a conical inner shell surface.
