PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end mill with its blade diameter easy to be measured and capable of suppressing chattering vibration in cutting a groove while securing a suitable groove width for discharging chip over the whole blade length. SOLUTION: Outer peripheral blades 6 of 6×N lines (N denotes 1 or larger integers) are formed to have intervals in the circumferential direction on an outer periphery of an edge part of an end mill body 1 rotated around an axis O. These outer peripheral blades 6 are formed so that they can meet each other at a position where the end mill body 1 is rotated around the axis O by 120 degrees. Regarding a twist angle of 2×N lines of the outer peripheral blades 6 positioned within the range of the 120 degrees, a twist angleθA of at least one outer peripheral blade 6A is made to be a twist angle different from a twist angleθB of other outer peripheral blades 6B.
