Disclosed is a laminate (10) with a polarizer, comprising a device substrate (12) having a first principal surface (12a) and a second principal surface (12b), a support substrate (13) having a first principal surface (13a) and a second principal surface (13b), and a resin layer (14) provided between the first principal surface of the device substrate and the first principal surface of the support substrate.  A reflection-type polarizer (11) is provided on the first principal surface of the device substrate.  The surface of the resin layer which is in contact with the surface of the device substrate on which the reflection-type polarizer is present is releasable.
