<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color composition that allows formation of a filter segment and a black matrix having a superior cross-sectional profile even with high sensitivity by a laser exposure method at a specified wavelength, and to provide a method for manufacturing a color filter by using the composition, and a color filter manufactured by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The color composition, to be used for the following method for manufacturing a color filter, contains a pigment, a transparent resin, a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, a photopolymerization initiator and a polymerization inhibitor. The method includes steps of: forming a color coating film by using the color composition on a substrate; curing the part of the color coating film, the part to be a filter segment or a black matrix, by irradiating the part with laser light at a wavelength of 340 to 380 nm; and forming the filter segment or the black matrix by removing an uncured part of the color coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
