摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the case wherein a modulation system is set unnecessarily high when there is no user data to be transmitted to a communication destination device or when the number of user data to be transmitted is extremely small. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication method of selecting a modulation system according to the quality of a radio propagation path includes: selecting a first modulation system according to the quality of the radio propagation path; setting a transmission power value of a radio signal so as to obtain necessary quality of the selected first modulation system; recognizing a second modulation system corresponding to the amount of user data to be transmitted; and decreasing the transmission power value of the radio signal so as to obtain necessary quality of the second modulation system when the recognized second modulation system has a lower transmission data rate than the selected first modulation system, or increasing the transmission power value of the radio signal to a settable value when the recognized second modulation system has a higher transmission data rate than the selected first modulation system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
