PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the arrangement of an image file to be performed by a camera body. SOLUTION: A CPU 201 gives an instruction to a memory reading/writing part 36, and makes removable media 35 record an image data file expressing a sample image obtained by using a microscope. When a power source switch provided to an operating part 30 is operated, and power supply to a digital camera for the microscope is started, the CPU 201 gives an instruction to a reading attribute setting part 74 to set read-only attributes to a data file already recorded in the removable media 35 when the power supply is started.
