PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planer type machine tool for exhibiting an oscillation absorption function to a mode (frequency) causing oscillation problems without badly affecting machining accuracy, especially flatness. SOLUTION: In the planer type machine tool composed by two columns 10-1, 10-2, and a cross rail 20 supported by the two columns, dynamic oscillation absorbers 60-1, 60-2 are disposed at a portion where the columns and the cross rail intersect.
