PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for roll body which safely transports by surely holding a loaded roll body under an immobile state even when the widths and the diameters of the roll bodies are different, and at the same time, by which a maximum loading efficiency can be obtained. SOLUTION: This container for roll body is used for transporting the roll body 10 of which the winding core 17 has a circular cylindrical shape by housing and holding the roll body. The container for roll body is constituted of a pallet 1 which serves as the base body of the container, a pair of shaft members 18 and 18 constituting the core shaft of the roll body by being respectively fitted in both ends of the winding core of the roll body, and a pair of supporting members 9 and 9 which receive the shaft members of the roll body by being fitted in the pallet. The pair of shaft members are freely attachable to/detachable from both ends of the winding core of the roll body respectively.
