<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip preventing degradation of the design property while suppressing any increase in the weight and the cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The weather strip 5 comprises a trim part 11 having a substantially U-shaped section to be fitted to a flange part 33 along a door opening part, a seal part 15 projected from the trim part 11 to the exterior side, and a design lip 23 extending from the trim part 11 to the interior side. The trim part 11 comprises a sponge rubber having the specific gravity of 0.6-0.8, and the 25% extensional stress of ≥400 kPa. The seal part 15 is constituted of a sponge rubber having the specific gravity of 0.4-0.6, and the 25% extensional stress of ≥200 kPa. The design lip 23 is constituted of a solid rubber, and a covering part 25 constituted of a solid rubber and continuously extending with the design lip 23 is formed on an outer surface of the trim part 11.
