<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus capable of restoring a deteriorated image by image processing, even if a photographed image deteriorates according to an individual difference of image recording apparatus, and to provide its manufacturing apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image recording apparatus 1 includes an image sensor 4, a memory 6, an estimation means 7, and a restoring means 8. The image sensor 4 acquires image data. The memory 6 holds measured PSF (Point Spread Function) data indicative of a PSF for one or two regions among a plurality of regions set by virtually dividing the image sensor. The estimation means 7 estimates another region PSF data, according to the measured PSF data and design PSF data indicative of a PSF obtained from the design value of an imaging lens. The restoring means 8 restores the image data using the measured PSF data and another region PSF data. The measured PSF data can be obtained from photographed data, wherein the photographed data is obtained by photographing a coordination chart by the image recording apparatus.
