<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massager, in which a temperature sensor 58 for controlling the temperature of a heater 52 for heating a site to be treated and a temperature sensor for detecting the outside air temperature are made one sensor, and the number of parts are reduced and also the cost is reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The massager includes the heater 52 for heating a sole and a thermistor 58 as the temperature sensor for controlling the temperature of the heater, wherein the outside air temperature is also detected by the temperature sensor and the temperature of the heater is controlled according to the detected outside air temperature. After power distribution to the heater 52 is cut off, the outside air temperature is detected again by the temperature sensor after a predetermined time is passed (for example, after one hour is passed), and the temperature of the heater is controlled according to the re-detected outside air temperature.
