<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for spinning reels, which ensures the lightening of the rotor and prevents the deterioration in the strength of the body portion of the rotor and the invasion of foreign matter, such as water or dust, into the inside of the rotor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotor for spinning reels in which a penetrated hole or a thin portion is disposed in the body portion of the rotor rotatably supported in front of the reel body to lighten the rotor is characterized in that a cylindrical member is mounted to prevent the deterioration in the strength of the body portion and the invasion of foreign matter, such as water or dust, into the inside of the rotor.
