PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine which can reduce an induction voltage while suppressing the lowering of maximum torque. SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine 10 comprises a stator 11 having an armature winding, and a rotor 20 which has a plurality of permanent magnets 22, and is rotatably arranged so as to oppose the stator 11. The permanent magnets 22 are arranged substantially in a V-shape which expands toward the external peripheral face 21a of a rotor iron core 21, and a non-magnetic part 30 which expands in a V-shape toward the external peripheral face 21a of the rotor iron core 21 is arranged at the side of the external peripheral face 21a more outside the permanent magnets 22.
