PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting for a beverage container, configured such that the fitting is not easily disassembled by a third person, the beverage container is prevented from being used improperly and contaminated, and the life of a seal ring is extended to significantly reduce the amount of maintenance. SOLUTION: A fitting for a beverage container, provided with: a mounting member 20 having on the outer peripheral side thereof a male screw thread engaging with the mouth fitting 9 of the beverage container 8; a valve seat section provided on the inner peripheral side of the mounting member; a down tube 5 having an upper end section supported by the mounting member; a gas valve 3 suitable for the upper end section of the down tube and adapted to supply a pressurized gas to the inside of the container; a beverage valve 4 disposed within the upper end section of the down tube and used to pour a beverage out of the container; and a sealing member 28 for sealing between the lower inner surface of the mouth fitting and the mounting member. The mounting member has formed thereon a flange section 23 projecting outward from the top of the mounting member. The mounting member is fixed in position after being screwed into the mouth fitting up to a predetermined position defined by the flange section, and the flange section and the mouth fitting are secured together to prevent the mounting member from rotating.
