PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port unit capable of cleaning a narrow vertical gap between a floor and furniture or the like. SOLUTION: The suction port unit 1 includes: a suction port unit body 2; a lower case 4 being the lower part of the suction port unit body 2 by opening the upper part of the suction port unit body 2; and an upper case 5 for covering the upper and rear side of the lower case 4 and rotatably holding a connection pipe 3 between the upper case and the lower case 4. A ventilation opening 10 is arranged along the longitudinal direction of a rotary brush, at a part of the upper case 5 forming the ceiling of a suction chamber above the rotary brush. A rotary member 11 is arranged as a movement part for arbitrarily clogging the ventilation opening 10. When the rotary member 11 is moved downward, the ventilation opening 10 is opened. Dust attached to the bottom plate of the furniture or the like in the upper part of the gap is sucked via the ventilation opening 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
