<p>A double-sided tape comprises a release paper layer (1) consisting of a tape substrate (11) and upper and lower release layers (12,13) applied on the upper and lower surfaces of the tape substrate (11), and an adhesive layer (2) applied on the upper surface of the release paper layer (1), wherein the adhesive layer (2) comprises continuously and uniformly distributed individual pressure sensitive adhesive units of the same thickness. A method for producing the double-sided tape comprises the following steps: applying organosilicon release layers on the upper and lower surfaces of a plastic film or a fibre paper tape, acting as the tape substrate (11), so as to form the release paper; then applying continuously and uniformly distributed individual pressure sensitive adhesive units of the same thickness on the surface of the upper release layer (12) of the release paper, so as to form the adhesive layer (2); winding the double-sided tape into a roll by a receiving roller of the coating machine, then placing the roll on a cutting machine to cut it into tapes of desired width, which are afterwards wound into the roll-shaped cored end products having desired specifications and sizes. This double-sided tape has the advantage of being immune to stringiness in use, which ensures neatness and cleanness in applying the adhesive film.</p> |
