<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable security features tested by community for legacy applications. <P>SOLUTION: A client module installed in a subset 142 for instance of clients 110(1) to 110(Y) receives rules for validating security features from a server 130 to execute and validates at least one of the security functions for the legacy applications. The client module determines whether the enabled security features adversely affect stability, performance, and functionality of the legacy applications or not, and transfers the information identifying the effect of the rules for enabling the security features to the server.
