<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for recovering amine, capable of efficiently recovering an amine compound accompanied by a decarbonated exhaust gas in a decarbonation process of removing carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide-containing gas by an amine compound-containing absorption liquid, and to provide a decarbonator provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A water washing part has the two-stage configuration of a first stage water washing part 64 and a second stage water washing part 65, and the amine compounds accompanying the decarbonated exhaust gas are recovered successively in the water washing parts. Also, the reflux water of a regeneration column is supplied to the second stage water washing part 65 as washing water. Demisters 83, 84, 85 are arranged at the outlets of a carbon dioxide absorbing part 73, the first stage water washing part 64 and the second stage water washing part 65, and absorption liquid mists and washing water mists accompanying the decarbonated exhaust gas are removed by the demisters.
