<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fault due to fall of a battery voltage in a router device using a battery power supply. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The router device 20 can use both a battery power supply and a commercial power supply. When the battery power supply is used, the battery voltage is detected with an ADC 58 for detecting battery power supply and amplitude of the battery voltage is displayed in the manner of power supply/remaining amount LED 61. Moreover, when the battery power supply is used, the router device 20 inhibits writing of firmware and also inhibits, in addition, writing of setting data, if the battery voltage becomes lower than the threshold Th2.
