<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system reducible in the size a system and high in hydrogen gas formation capacity by efficiently collecting exhaust heat from an engine and progressing a dehydrogenation reaction in a reactor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The engine system using hydrogen generated by the reaction of exhaust gas and fuel includes an exhaust gas channel in which exhaust gas flows, the reactor disposed in the exhaust gas channel and carrying catalysts, a high temperature pre-heater disposed in the exhaust gas channel at an upstream of the reactor, and a pre-heater disposed in the exhaust gas channel at a downstream of the reactor.
