<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll paper holder capable of preventing preliminary roll paper from being easily carried away by a malicious person. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This roll paper holder RH includes a support shaft 12 constituted movably between a use position 12a of using present use roll paper and a taking-out position 12b capable of taking out a core after using the present use roll paper, and a cover for covering the periphery of the preliminary roll paper while making the preliminary roll paper movable to a use part, and includes a projection part 142 being a regulating member for regulating the movement to the use part of the preliminary roll paper by interlocking with the movement to the taking-out position 12b of a support shaft 12.
