PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus for a vehicle facilitating the recognition of the vehicle state. SOLUTION: The display apparatus for the vehicle to be mounted in the vehicle includes a display section for displaying visually identifiable first display image and second display image at relatively variable display positions; a display image position calculating section for calculating the display positions of the first display image and the second display image; and a display image creating section for creating display image data to be displayed on the display section, based on the calculated display positions of the first display image and the second display image. The display image position calculating section compares the actually measured value obtained by detecting the vehicle state with the comparison value compared with the actually measured value, and determines relative displacing direction and relative displacing amount to the first display image and the second display image, based on the deviation of the actually measured value from the comparison value.
