<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system having functions that conventional paper can not provide through cooperative operation between an image forming apparatus and a passive image display means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The image formation system 1 analyzes contents of a display item set by a display setting means 3 by a control unit 20, acquires state information on the image display apparatus 100 by monitoring the operation state of the apparatus by a state monitoring means 5 when state display of the image forming apparatus 100 is set in the display item, and displays the obtained state information on the passive image display means 400 united with the exterior 100B of the image forming apparatus or mounted detachably such that a glance can be cast from a periphery of the image forming apparatus.
