<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system, an information processing apparatus and an information processing program, capable of processing electronic files of the same content respectively by first and second processing means, without depending on a communication situation of the system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This information processing system 1 includes a reception means for receiving a first storage place information indicating a place stored with the electronic file in a first file server 3A, the first processing means for processing the electronic file in the first file server 3A specified by the first storage place information, the first information processing apparatus 2A having a conversion means for converting the first storage place information, into the second storage place information indicating a place stored with the electronic file in the second file server 3B having the content same to that of the electronic file in the first file server 3A specified by the first storage place information, and the second information processing apparatus 2B having the second processing means for processing the electronic file in the second file server 3B specified by the second storage place information.
