<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system in which an increase in the processing load of a client terminal is suppressed even when the number of content data stored in a content server is large. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The information processing system 100 includes: the content servers 10 (10a to 10c) for storing a plurality of content data 201 to 208, and for holding content lists 11 (11a to 11c); the client terminal 20 for obtaining the content lists 11 (11a to 11c) and the content data 201 to 208 from the content servers 10 (10a to 10c) through a network 110, and for reproducing the content data 201 to 208; and a list processing server 30 for receiving the content lists 11 (11a to 11c) from the client terminal 20, and for applying prescribed processing to the content lists 11 (11a to 11c).
