<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a terminal hydrocarbyloxy group-containing diorganopolysiloxane in a short time by a comparatively small installation, and to provide a method for continuously producing the diorganopolysiloxane. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the terminal hydrocarbyloxy group-containing diorganopolysiloxane having a specific structure includes mixing a reaction liquid containing (A) a diorganopolysiloxane having an alkenyl group, (B) a hydrosilyl group-containing hydrocarbyloxysilane represented by general formula (1): (R<SP>1</SP>O)<SB>a</SB>R<SP>2</SP><SB>3-a</SB>-Si-H (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>s are each independently 1-8C nonsubstituted or alkoxy-substituted monovalent hydrocarbon; R<SP>2</SP>is 1-13C monovalent hydrocarbon; and (a) is an integer of 1-3), and (C) a platinum group metal-based catalyst in a tube reactor by reciprocally vibrating the reaction liquid in the axis direction of the tube reactor, and reacting the components (A) with (B) in the presence of the component (C).
