PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-angle lens which secures back focus and has high imaging performance, an imaging apparatus including the same, and a method for manufacturing the wide-angle lens. SOLUTION: The wide-angle lens includes, in order from an object side, a first lens group G1 having negative refractive power and a second lens group G2 having positive refractive power. The first lens group includes at least one negative meniscus lens turning its convex surface to the object side, and the second lens group includes, in order from the object side, a positive lens, a negative lens and a positive lens.
