BLOOD-PRESSURE MEASURING DEVICE COMPRISING CUFF TO BE WRAPPED AROUND MEASUREMENT SITE

A blood-pressure measuring device is provided with a wrapping strength detecting unit (130) for detecting the wrapping strength of a cuff around a measurement site.  The wrapping strength detecting unit (130) detects the wrapping strength of the cuff before the blood-pressure value is calculated by a blood-pressure calculating unit (120).  More specifically, in the process of controlling the cuff pressure by a pressure regulating unit (110), the wrapping strength of the cuff is detected on the basis of the relationship indicated by the volumetric change (?V12) of the cuff which is detected with the change of the detected pressure in the cuff wrapped around the measurement site from P1 to P2 and the volumetric change (?23) of the cuff which is detected with the change from P2 to P3.
