The method involves inserting an adhesive fitting in a recess, and removing the adhesive fitting from a magazine with a holding unit on a head of a hinge aggregate (23). The adhesive fitting is inserted and held in the light weight building board by the hinge aggregate by pressing a dosed adhesive through a hollow bolt into the adhesive fitting. An independent claim is also included for a device for mechanically setting adhesive fittings in a light weight building board.
