A communication method in a multi-carrier system comprises the steps of: allocating a radio resource for signal transmission to a middle guard band; and transmitting signals through said radio resource, wherein said middle guard band is a frequency band interposed between the used bands of a plurality of carriers in the aggregated carrier formed by aggregating the plurality of carriers, and the radio resource allocation unit of the middle guard band is different from the radio resource allocation unit of the used bands. The communication method in a multi-carrier system uses the guard band between the carriers, thereby improving channel estimation performance or efficiency of use of the radio resource.
