<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device of which development characteristic is improved when the airbag bulges and develops. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag 1 is fixed to a vehicle body panel 13 through fixing pieces 25 in such a way that a first folded part 21 is arranged at a compartment room side and a second folded part 22 is arranged at a vehicle body panel 13. A gas feeding part 7 is constituted to be arranged to cover the airbag 1 formed into a folded block 20 along its outer surface in such a way that the gas feeding part 7 is arranged between the second folded part 22 and the vehicle body panel 13. Then, a deformation to cause a roof-lining 15 covering the airbag 1 to be turned upward is applied with utilization of force when the gas feeding part 7 bulges with bulging gas fed from an inflator 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
