<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer battery for which excellent reliability can be expected by interconnecting positive electrode-tabs and lead plates more reliably than before by a comparatively simple method. <P>SOLUTION: A tab 23A made of an aluminum-based material and a tab 23B made of a nickel-based material are respectively connected to a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate and extended out of a unit cell 2. Lead plates 4A and 4B made of nickel or a nickel alloy are respectively welded to the tabs 23A and 23B by direct spot welding. In this welding, the tabs 23A and 23B are put between the top portions of a plurality of protrusions 410 formed on the surface of a flat plate portion 41 and a folded-back portion 42 formed in contiguous with the flat plate 41 and folded-back so that it overlays the flat plate 41; the lead plates 4A and 4B are respectively welded to the tabs 23A and 23B at least at the top portions of the protrusions 410. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
