PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fluid carrying hose, which has cold resistance and does not cause deterioration of the adhesiveness between a coat rubber and an organic fiber in an organic fiber cord serving as a reinforcing layer, even in steam vulcanization. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a fluid carrying hose comprises steam-vulcanizing a hose 1 having inner and outer carcass layers 5 and 7 laminated with two or more reinforcing layers which consist of an organic fiber cord composed of a coat rubber blended with a butadiene rubber to improve cold resistance. The organic fiber of the organic fiber cord of the reinforcing layers of the inner and outer carcass layers 5 and 7 is a polyketone fiber or a composite fiber of a polyketone fiber with another fiber.
