PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for providing default hierarchical training for social indexing concerning digital information retrieval and implication. SOLUTION: A social index is accessed (step 71). Labelling is performed by each topic (step 72). A default value candidate pattern is generated (step 73). Processing is proceeded to a succeeding /* topic label */ (step 74). A candidate pattern is generated for each default value (step 75). A score is calculated with respect to the pattern (step 76). Processing is proceeded to a succeeding /* topic label */ (step 77). The pattern with the highest score is classified and taken out (step 78). The pattern is selected as a default hierarchical index.
