PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shackle assembly used for connecting a vehicle suspension component to a vehicle frame. SOLUTION: This shackle assembly includes a shackle bracket 68, abrasion pads 76 and 78, a shackle stop 92, shackle plates 69 and 70 and elastomer bushes 72 and 80. The shackle bracket 68 includes leg parts 88 and 90. The elastomer bushes 72 and 80 include a space at an interval in the vertical direction, and an elastomer layer is a bow tie shape. The shackle stop 92 fixed between the shackle plates 69 and 70 provides control in the length direction of an axle when speed reduction is applied to a vehicle since the opposite side rim of a leaf spring 44 is damaged. Fingers 84 and 86 forming a part of the shackle plates 69 and 70 provide control in the length direction of the axle 53 when the vehicle moves in the inverse direction.
