PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger for a roof end cover material, for attaching the roof end cover material, which covers an end of a roof having an existing roofing material covered with a newly-provided covering material, to the existing roofing material without forming a nail hole and a bolt-inserting hole in the roof material, and to provide a roof structure using the hanger. SOLUTION: The hanger is used for hanging the newly-provided roof-end cover material 5 covering the end of the roof wherein the existing roofing material 2 is covered with the newly-provided covering material 3. The hanger includes: a vertically-elongated plate-like body 11; a first connecting portion 12 which is elongated from a lower portion of the body 11 so as to connect the newly-provided roof end cover material 5 to the body 11; a mounting portion 13 which is elongated from an upper portion of the body 11 so as to mount the body 11 on the side of a building frame; and a second connecting portion 14 which is elongated from the lower portion of the body 11 so as to connect the existing roof-end cover material 4 to the body 11.
