<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a sleeping state of a main CPU from being released unnecessarily. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 10 has the main CPU 14, a sub-CPU 24, and a first RAM 20 for storing a condition for maintaining the sleeping state of the main CPU 14. The main CPU 14 registers an address port number included in a packet, into the first RAM 20, when receiving the ineffective packet. The sub-CPU 24 determines whether the address port number included in the packet is registered in the first RAM 20, when receiving the packet during the period where the main CPU 14 is under the sleeping state. The sub-CPU 24 maintains the sleeping state of the main CPU 14, when an affirmative determination result is obtained, and releases the sleeping state of the main CPU 14, when a negative determination result is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
