<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device having a function of preventing half latch upon opening operation, and capable of restoring an operation member (a cylinder lock) to the initial pre-operation position immediately after opening operation of the operation member by an operator. <P>SOLUTION: In the door latch device having the function of preventing half latch upon opening operation, an open lever 56 connected to the cylinder lock arranged on a door comprises a first lever 56a operatively connected with the cylinder lock, an operation part 63 operating a claw 37, and a second lever 56b having an engagement receiving part 64 engaged with and held by an open-state holding mechanism. The first lever 56a is arranged to be engaged with the second lever 56b to integrally rotate with the second lever 56b when rotating to an opening operation position, and to rotate independently of the second lever 56b when rotating to the initial position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
