<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform the occurrence of a trouble at the point when any trouble resulting from a signalling occurs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A protocol simulator includes: a scenario creation section 90 which creates a test scenario of an SDL (Specification and Description Language) format describing an event in a protocol test as a symbol; and an execution control unit 92 which executes the test scenario created in the scenario creation section 90 by communication networks such as a false LAN 41 and a false WAN 42 constructed on a computer, characterized in that the execution control unit 92 generates a trigger after the event described as an arbitrary symbol in the test scenario created in the scenario creation section 90.
