<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a demodulated signal from being deteriorated in sound quality while removing or avoiding interference with an adjacent station by extracting the state of interference caused in the reception of a radio wave in an adjacent station interference state and a signal of a non-interference component. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A radio receiver is constituted so that a PLL circuit 21 which is provided on a demodulating circuit of a radio receiver which outputs the demodulated signal by converting a received radio wave to an intermediate frequency and performing demodulation processing, and generates a signal of an in-phase component and a signal of a quadrature component from the intermediate frequency is provided with a frequency counter 5 capable of detecting a frequency shift of a carrier of an intermediate frequency of the received radio wave from a reference intermediate frequency, and the detected frequency shift is input to a VCO 4 provided on the PLL circuit 21 to correct the oscillation frequency of the VCO 4 based on the frequency shift, thereby eliminating a carrier shift in intermediate frequency caused by interference with the disturbing station.
