摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve inhibiting a fuel injection amount from varying and becoming unstable with variation in fuel temperature. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve includes a nozzle body 20 formed with a nozzle 22 for injecting fuel and a cylinder-shaped needle 33 received inside the nozzle body 20 for opening and closing the nozzle 22, and an annular passage 33a for leading the fuel to the nozzle 22 is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the needle 33 and the inner peripheral surface of the nozzle body 20. A valve opening pressure receiving section 32b receiving a fuel pressure in a direction of opening the needle 33 is formed in part of a portion of the needle 33 forming the annular passage 33a, and a through-hole 321 penetrating the needle 33 therein is formed in a portion of the needle 33 upstream of the valve opening pressure receiving section 32b. The through-hole 321 serves as a throttling fuel passage for leading the fuel to the valve opening pressure receiving section 32b and is formed to regulate the inflow rate of the fuel into the valve opening pressure receiving section 32b to a predetermined rate or smaller.
