<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing part of a building and its construction method for reducing time and labor required by construction of panels, improving fixation strength, and ensuring high thermal insulation performance easily. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This external facing part 1 of the building is provided with a plurality of long fixing members 3 fixed on a skeleton of the building, a panel continuously arranged body 7 constituted by arranging and fixing a plurality of panels 4 fitted into the fixing members 3 through fitting grooves 41 by using pin-like fasteners 9, and an outer surface covering layer 8 covering an outer surface side of the panel continuously arranged body 7. In the construction method for the external facing part 1, the panels 4 fitted into the fixing members 3 fixed on the skeleton of the building are fixed by using the pin-like fasteners 9. Since a plurality of fitting grooves 41 are formed in parallel in the panel 4, it is possible for a worker to grasp a position of the fixing member 3 based on the fitting groove 41.
