<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional deodorizer with microbes is faulty in an immediate result and storage stability since usage is started as the spores (a dormant state) of the microbes concerning the immediate result and oxygen exists in water to be used concerning the storage stability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The immediate result of deodorization and the storage stability in a deodorization absorbent article are largely improved by using deoxygenated water as the water to be used, i.e. extremely reducing dissolved oxygen, allowing the water content of EM bacillus immobilized powder to be 2.0-15.0%, and limiting the number of the EM bacilli, i.e. allowing the application amount of the EM bacillus immobilized powder with respect to a water-absorbing resin to be 2.0-10.0%.
