<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope and an endoscope system by which uniform illumination light not hindering the observation of an affected site can be obtained by preventing the generation of intensity variation and speckle noise. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the endoscope 100 having a fluorescent body 35 arranged at the distal end of an endoscope inserting part 11 for inserting it into an subject and activated and emitting light by laser light with a specific wavelength, an optical fiber 19 arranged along the endoscope inserting part 11 and irradiating with the laser light the fluorescent body 35 from a light emitting end, and an image taking part 17 for taking an image of the inside of the subject irradiated with the illumination light from the fluorescent body 35, a vibration applying means 21 for vibrating the optical fiber 19 is arranged in the endoscope inserting part 11.
