The present invention relates to a system and to a method for verifying a website address. The address-verifying system according to the present invention comprises an address-verifying server and at least one user terminal connected to the address verifying server via a communication network. The address-verifying server includes: a white list database in which a white list containing authenticated access information of a plurality of websites is stored; and an address-verifying module which determines whether or not the current access information of the web page accessed by the user terminal matches the authenticated access information of the website contained in the white list database. The user terminal includes: an access information transmission module which transmits the current access information of the accessed web page to the address-verifying server; and a verification result notification module which provides a user with a normal access message if it is determined by the address-verifying module that the authenticated access information of the white list database matches the current access information of the web page the user terminal is currently accessing.
